Brian Boru Fencing Club is a member’s club. We run group training at the following times:

• Monday - 7pm until 8pm

• Wednesday - 7pm until 8pm

Sparing/Free fencing is available at the following times:

• Monday - 8pm until 9pm

• Wednesday - 8pm until 9pm

• Saturday - 12pm until 2pm

Non-members must book a class using this form. We charge a fee of €10 per session for non-members. This fee helps to maintain a high standard of coaching at Brian Boru Fencing Club. This fee can be paid in cash or by PayPal (PayPal.me/brianborufc). Please do not use this form if you are looking to bring your child to fencing, instead please contact the Club using the ‘Contact Us’ button above.

All fencers, both members and non-members, must have a Fencing Ireland competition licence valid for the current season, available here. 

We are based at the National Modern Pentathlon Centre on the Sport Ireland Campus, please refer to the map available on this page when visiting us. The Sports Campus can be reached via the 38 bus from the City centre or via the new N4 bus. 

It is roughly a 20-minute walk from the entrance of the Sports Campus to the Pentathlon Centre, it is advisable and safer if you use the access road through the football pitches to avoid the road signposted to the Pentathlon Centre (for cars only).

We have a limited supply of equipment. If you are an experienced fencer and have your own equipment, it would be advisable to bring it along.
